Where Did the Name Come From?
"NoPlanB" came from a quote by Christian artist/songwriter Rich
Mullins.

"I think the scary thing about God is that He didn't come up with
any Plan B; that He left the church here and the church is the only
group of people and the only institution in the world that can bring
about a change."

We believe in absolute truth that exists in God and lived in the
person of Jesus Christ.  In a world where so many things are
relative, there are some things that don't change...some things that
are constant.

What Does The Name Mean?
In August of 2004, our Student Minister, Eric Whelchel, introduced
and outlined the meaning of our new Student Ministry identity.

As our church and student ministry grows in a relative world, so
grows the need for us to identify what God has established as non
negotiable.  "NoPlanB" will communicate the desire of our student
ministry to follow the plan and purpose
God sets before us as we
follow Him and grow.

4 Things God has "No Plan B" for...

There is NO PLAN B for...SALVATION

Salvation is in Christ alone.

"I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father
except through me."
- John 14:6 NIV

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under
heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
- Acts 4:12 NIV

There is NO PLAN B for...REVELATION

The BIBLE is the FINAL authority in knowing the person and plan of
God.

"All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking,
correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God
may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
- 2 Timothy 3:16 NIV

There is NO PLAN B for...COMMUNITY

To live in a relationship with Christ requires we rely on each other
as a community of faith.  There are no "lone ranger" Christians.

"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of
doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you
see the Day approaching."
- Hebrews 10:25 NIV

"...But God has combined the members of the body...so that there
should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have
equal concern for each other."
- 1 Corinthians 12:24b-25

There is NO PLAN B for...COMMISSION

The responsibility to make a difference has been left to us, no one
else!

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you,
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
- Acts 1:7 NIV

personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

students.
